Nicole Richie has reportedly called off her wedding to fiancé Joel Madden

company.co.uk - The engagement between Charlotte Church and Gavin Henson broke down last month and now it looks like wedding planning got too much for Nicole Richie and Joel Madden too! The socialite-turned-designer has apparently called-off their upcoming nuptials after growing sick of the Good Charlotte rocker's reluctance to settle down.

Talking to the Daily Star, and insider blabbed:

"Their wedding is off for now. Nicole is upset that Joel seems more interested in being on the road with his buddies, boozing and hanging out in bars than he is in sharing family time in LA.

"It’s become a joke among Nicole’s family and friends how many times she’s planned and postponed the ceremony."

Still, at least it's not a complete split - right?

Besides, Nicole has had other things to deal with this week; her driving probation was extended for another year after she skipped her court-ordered alcohol education classes last year to attend to giving birth (that small matter!). Her probation - stemming from a 2006 driving violation - was due to end in July but her lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, headed to a Los Angeles court yesterday to explain the delay in completing the classes and request extra time. Let's hope Joel gives her the support she needs!
