Lindsay Lohan has sworn time and time again that she's dedicated to getting her life back on track, and, so far, so good! Her electric monitoring bracelet went off Monday and get this: It wasn't because she'd done anything wrong. At all.

Apparently the bracelet, which she's required to wear during her 35 days of house arrest, malfunctioned and went off, sending a fleet of probation officers racing to her house.

When they arrived, they found the starlet on the roof of her apartment building catching some rays and reading scripts -- and watching her 3D TV. No failed escape plot, no adult beverages, nothin'.

Sources told TMZ the bracelet may have "missed a signal," causing it to go off even though the starlet did nothing wrong. Her attorney said (via E! Online ): "Lindsay's electronic monitoring system went off on Monday. When a representative from the monitoring company went to her home, the representative found Lindsay there. The equipment was replaced the following day."
