David Beckham

David Beckham (born 2 May 1975) is an English footballer (soccer star) who has played for Real Madrid, and for the LA Galaxy in the US. He’s one of the most famous players in the world, and a well-known celebrity. He’s married to Victoria Beckham, or Posh Spice, and the two have three boys together. Apparently the soccer star was traveling south on LA's 405 freeway when he collided with a stalled vehicle. "Mr. Beckham's black Cadillac SUV collided with the rear of a gold Mitsubishi in the carpool lane," said Jennifer Connolly, spokesperson for California Highway Patrol. The driver of the Mitsubishi was reportedly taken to the hospital after complaining of neck pains, but Mr. Beckham was not injured in the collision. He wasn't cited or arrested after the crash, either. The crash comes the day before David's wife Victoria celebrated her fourth pregnancy with her gal pals at a pink baby shower. The designer's shower was held at the Butterfly Bar atop West Hollywood's Hotel Le Petit Ermitage and was co-hosted by Eva Longoria and Ken Paves. Stars like Nicole Richie and pregnant Selma Blair came out for the festivities.

David Beckham Opening Bar In Los Angeles

David Beckham is already a soccer star and now he wants to add restaurant owner to his resume. His rep is denying the rumor, but sources say that he'd like to open a place and name it Queen Vic, after Victoria Beckham, of course. That's so sweet!

It would be a joint venture with celebrity chef, Gordon Ramsay, and have an English menu.

“He wants pie and mash, fish and chips and even chicken in a basket on the menu, just like the meals he eats when he’s in the UK.”
